Our performances are absurd, abstract, humorous and meaningful. We use our voice but not for dialogues. The story is odd and unpredictable. Everyday materials and objects are being used in a different manner.

We enjoy to give the audience something to think about, not only entertain them. We don't want to explain all, but stimulate, mould and stretch thoughts and imagination.
After the show we like to talk to the audience to hear reactions or questions. The shows are also suitable for children and after the show they are very welcome to come and get a closer look at all the instruments and objects!!

Theatre company Carbid was established by Wendy van Zanten and Lody Ratsma. They both graduated from de School of Fine Arts in Utrecht. Wendy studied Theatre Design. Lody combined Acting and Composition.
